Fraser, a town in Colorado, boasts a vibrant and evolving public arts scene that reflects its unique mountain culture and community spirit. Fraser's public arts initiatives enhance its natural beauty and provide a cultural touchstone for both residents and visitors.
Fraser Valley Arts - Fraser’s Non-Profit Art Community
The ultimate goal is to fund the creation of the Fraser Center for Creative Arts, a vision created by the Town of Fraser and its stakeholders. The nearer term roadmap includes providing the community with artistic opportunities in cooperation with the Fraser Valley Recreation District, the Town of Fraser and other stakeholders. These will be in the form of classes and seminars, events such as the Fraser Mural Festival and a revival of the Plein Air tradition in Grand County, and collaboration with other like-minded organizations in the Valley.
The all-volunteer Board's goal is to achieve this mission by engaging with all people of the valley and offering programming and access to all. We welcome those interested in supporting this effort in any way.
Fraser Valley Arts (FVA) is working towards building a new focal point and “icon” for the Town of Fraser, Colorado. The position and posture of our future Fraser Creative Arts Center will reflect and honor the grand landscape within which it will reside.
We will prompt input from stakeholders, partners, residents, and our members to arrive at a collaborative conclusion to the concept. We will focus on social bonds and belonging. We will be an all-inclusive creative center, encouraging everyone to partake in the energetic and collaborative precision initiated by The Valley’s thriving community of artists and fine craftspeople.
The Fraser Creative Arts Center will stand in the community as a continual CALL TO CREATE!

Fraser Mountain Mural Festival
The 2024 Fraser Mountain Mural Festival is presented by the Town of Fraser and the Fraser Public Arts Committee (Fraser PAC). August 2-4, 2024, artists will compete for awards and recognition by producing their best work on 8ft x 8ft primed panels.
